Airport Operator

Alpha Aviation Inc. operates the airport under a long term lease with the Corporation of Delta. As the airport operator Alpha Aviation maintains the airport operating certificate issued by Transport Canada and is responsible for all maintenance and operational procedures at the airport.

Alpha Aviation works closely with City staff to ensure compatible operations and coordinate building permits and land development initiatives. Emergency Fire Services and Policing are provided by the Municipality and the airport conducts frequent exercises with these services to ensure the highest standards of safety and response.

At Boundary Bay Airport, we employ over 500 people that ensure the airport provides a positive economic impact for the community and provides excellent employment opportunities close to the community.

Aircraft Fueling


Boundary Bay Air Services provides full service aircraft fuelling with 100LL, Jet A, FSII (available upon request).

Fuel can be requested by Unicom (122.95) or by calling 604-318-9778 (bay fuel cell) or 604-952-2532 (FBO).

Boundary Bay Regional Airport (CZBB) is centrally located in Delta, BC (which is part of the Metro Vancouver area) is about 20 minutes from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and less than 40 minutes to downtown Vancouver, Surrey and the US Border. We can also pre arrange helicopter service from Boundary Bay to downtown heliports.

Alpha Aviation Inc. is working with the aviation industry to make Boundary Bay Airport (ZBB) the preferred location for both visiting and locally based corporate aircraft as well as Canada's premier aviation training airport.

Safety Management Plan

Safety is a high priority at Boundary Bay Airport and a Safety Management Plan has been developed to address all aspects of the airport operations.

Alpha Aviation has developed a set of objectives that move us towards long term safety at the Boundary Bay Airport. These objectives are to:

  • Actively manage the habitat and wildlife within and surrounding the Boundary Bay Airport.
  • Provide all staff with quality safety training relating to the workplace.
  • Encourage all staff, tenants and airport users to proactively report all hazards and incidents.

Airport users are invited to report any issue or condition that is or may be potentially hazardous to airport operations by sending a completed Hazard Report Form (see link below) to Alpha Aviation:
