News & Events - Archive 2008Boundary Bay Airport proudly supports the Air Cadets 828 Hurricane Squadron Program 02/14/2008
To raise money for their programs the 828 Squadron recycles cans, bottles and scrap metal collected at the Airport's Terminal and Heritage Hangar. As part of their citizenship/ community service program the Squadron organizes an annual clean up at the airport and conducts the final annual Flying and Aircrew survival training weekend every May at the airport.
Last year the Air Cadets planted 15 chestnut trees, in the 40 acres directly north of the airport, for the Corporation of Delta.
