2007 Boundary Bay Air Show Thank You

On February 22nd, members of the Alpha Aviation team and regulars from the Skyhawk Restaurant at the Boundary Bay Airport surprised long time airport supporter Gordon Huff with an 85th birthday cake. Along with the cake, Alpha Vice Chairman Sandra Stoddart-Hansen presented Gordon with a piece of concrete from the original runway along with a plaque thanking Gordon for his support of the airport.
During World War II, Gordon and his then fiancé hauled gravel to the
site for the construction of the runway
system at Boundary Bay. He has remained a staunch supporter and advocate for the airport since that time. Gordon serves
on Delta`s Airport Advisory Committee and brings his knowledge and expertise to that role.
From everyone at the Boundary Bay Airport, Thanks Gordon and Happy Birthday.
