On Sunday August 7th, Boundary Bay Airport welcomed the pilots and crew of BJ's Safari. BJ's Safari is being led by Bernie John Sarroff a flying instructor
from Maitland Australia. Bernie assembled a group who hail from all parts of Australia who traveled to Los Angeles where they boarded a fleet of seven aircraft
that they rented from California Flight Centres. This trip has been 6 months in the planning and is the 7th safari that Bernie has led in North America.

Delta and Alpha Aviation host Grand Re-Opening Event

Alpha Aviation
and The Corporation of Delta marked the grand re-opening of Boundary Bay Airport on June 25th with a ceremony honouring the past,
present and future of the Boundary Bay Airport. Mayor Lois Jackson expressed her support and enthusiasm for the future of the airport and
along with Alpha Chair Fred Kaiser and other dignitaries, cut a ribbon to signal that the airport is re-open for business under new management.

AVCORP and Cessna celebrate working partnership

played host to a celebration by Avcorp Industries and Cessna Aircraft Corporation of a $50 million contract signed between the two
companies for the design and production of jet aircraft components for Cessna’s CJ3 aircraft.

Air Cadets Dedicate Cenotaph

the 828 “Hurricane” Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron dedicated a cenotaph remembering the RCAF station at Boundary Bay Airport.
